Foo Fighters Announce North American Leg of Tour With Show In Tampa

“I Wanna Meet Dave Grohl” is still relevant—and per our review of their new album Concrete and Gold, “Foo Fighters are taking advantage of the cachet they’ve built as the world’s safest arena rock band” with raw experimentation and end-of-the-world anticipation. Grohl is still the most successful rock dad around.

Fresh off the Sept. 21 release of Concrete and Gold, Foo Fighters have announced another leg of their tour that will kick off in Austin in April 2018 and end at Wrigley Field in Chicago, with July double headers at both Madison Square Garden and Fenway Park.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reported a Grohl quote from a recent Foo Fighters show: “I’m going to feel like I was run over by a truck tomorrow.” The band’s live energy is still there, fueled by decades of arena rock and a steady, not-yet-geriatric fan base.

Just in case you can’t head out on tour with Dave, we’re compiling a list of the best Foo Fighters tracks. Tickets go on sale to the public Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. local time. For pre-sale access, look no further.
